Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data we process when you use our website, place an order or request a repair, and what say you have in it.
Last updated on September 18, 2026
1. Who processes your data
The controller is the company behind this website. You will find the full identification details on the contact page.
2. What data we process
We collect only what is needed to carry out your order or repair:
- Name, email address and telephone number, to reach you about your order or repair.
- Address, to deliver.
- Order details and amounts, to fulfil and account for the order.
- Payment status. Our payment provider tells us whether a payment succeeded; your card details never reach our servers.
- Repair details: the machine, the fault and any photographs you send.
- Your password, only as an irreversible hash. We cannot read it.
- IP address and timestamp on sign-in and on staff actions, so abuse can be investigated.
3. Why, and on what basis
- Performance of the contract: your order, delivery and repair.
- Legal obligation: keeping invoices and accounting records.
- Legitimate interest: securing the website, preventing abuse, and recording who did what.
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it on.
4. Photographs sent with a repair
Photographs you send with a repair are not public on the internet. They are held in private storage and can only be retrieved by you and by our staff. On saving, we automatically strip the metadata from the photograph, including any location data. Internal working photographs taken by our technicians are not visible to you; those meant for you are.
5. How long we keep it
- Sign-in sessions: fourteen days, then deleted automatically.
- Abuse-limiting counters: one hour at most, then deleted automatically.
- Orders, invoices and accounting records: seven years, as Belgian law requires.
- Other data is kept for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires.
6. Who we share data with
We use service providers who act solely on our instructions:
- Our payment provider, to process your payment.
- The carrier, to deliver your parcel: name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Our email service, to send confirmations.
- Our hosting and storage provider, which runs the website and the files.
7. Your rights
You have the right to see your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a readable file. Send a request to the address on the contact page. We reply within one month.
Some data must be kept even if you ask for deletion: an invoice may not be erased before the statutory retention period has passed.
8. Security
- Traffic with the website is encrypted.
- Passwords are stored as an irreversible hash.
- Repair photographs are in private storage, behind an ownership check.
- Who performs which action in the admin is recorded.
9. Complaints
If you disagree with how we handle your data, tell us first. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.
